Zimms Martini & Wine Bar

Zimms Martini and Wine Bar is often referred to as the most upscale lounge in Houston. The decor is beautiful and the ambience is seductive. The music provided by in-house DJ Curtis Morton is a perfect blend of European deep house until midnight and trendy remixes after that. The art that hangs on the walls is chosen to capture the interest of our guests and some selections are from the owner's private collection. On occasion the canvases of a new artist will be chosen for display or impromptu shows. The paintings are usually for sale and this information can be obtained from the staff.

Zimms has a well edited wine list and several by the glass choices. There is a proprietors reserve list that will satisfy even the most well educated wine connoisseur. It may be of interest to someone that Zimms originally opened its doors in the early 70's as one of the first wine bars and sidewalk cafes in Houston. Many remember sitting outside, eating pate and cheese plates with hot French bread.

Zimms has an award winning martini list and bartenders. Ask Curtis to make his handcrafted Mexican Martini, or Peter to make the most delicious Pink Lemonade in the city! Piran and Sean will be happy to make you a killer Godiva Chocolate Martini . We promise that you will not be disappointed.
